Autumn (Fall) in YWAM

We currently have 80 students on base. Our particular programme has just 12, but out of this small group we hope to have 5 new full time workers going into the 10-40, 3 being trained and refreshed before returning back to their own 10-40 window countries as well as the other 4 looking at all the options! Outreach destinations are just being thought through, some amazing yet troubled areas. (Picture is from Sasa's Highschool graduation). Don't forget to see us on Facebook and please email us at ameggs@hotmail.co.uk and allymeggs@hotmail.com

January in the Springs

video
Winter here varies from sub zero temperatures one day to t-shirt weather the next. The YWAM base is busy, with around 50 plus people on short term (2-3 months) trips to India, Thailand, Nepal and another 20 students starting their training. The latest group has a specific "emergency response" focus so are looking at potential hot spots for their outreach time.
Check out this Video - really cool/Challenging/Informative!

Colorado Springs & YWAM

It's not every day one sees Bison or Wolves or even Deer on the road side. C/Springs is beautiful indeed. The YWAM base is an old hotel. The Meggs family are settling into Campus / Mission Life!

US Visit

We are going to look at YWAM and CFNI in Dallas, plus catch up with old friends, who, "coincidentally", happen to be passing through Dallas when we're there. We last saw them in Jamaica!

Westbrook on the Isle of Wight

This is where we moved to (back in Autumn 2005) on the Isle of Wight. Our house is the one top left, it's the original GroundsKeeper's Lodge for the estate. We're blessed! The site has 28 acres, including pitch&putt, woodland, football pitches, bastketball, games room and a pool. We see around 4,000 youngsters annually, from Crusader Groups, Church and Youth Groups through to Schools undertaking their national curriculum residential experience. Website can be viewed at www.westbrookcentre.org.uk
